On June 8, 2021, the Information Session of United Chemical Company LLP (hereinafter – UCC) was held on Development Prospects, which was organized as part of the planned business transformation and renewal of the long-term UCC Development Strategy.

Among participants of the Information Session were UCC employees and its subsidiaries (SSAP LLP, Polymer Production LLP, CHEM-plus LLP, MC SEZ ChemPark Taraz JSC), and among the invited persons were representatives of the UCC Sole Participant – Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan Chemical Industry Council Association of Legal Entities and National Company Kazakhstan Engineering JSC.

At this multilateral meeting, speakers addressed the following topics: “Development Directions of Kazakhstan Chemical Industry”, “Global Chemical Market. Trends in the global industry”, “Chemical industry of neighboring countries and development features”, “Proposals for UCC development” by the Heads of subsidiaries, as well as “Technical specification structure for the UCC Development Strategy”.

Active negotiations were held with participants within the framework of the Information Session, during which main conclusions were made on the need to develop chemical production in Kazakhstan, determine main role of UCC in this process and coordinate all stages of transformation with the Sole Participant, state bodies and other interested parties.
