Developing domestic content is one of the most important tasks in the field of public and quasi-public procurement. It aims to support domestic producers, create new jobs, develop the national economy and strengthen the competitiveness of local companies.

Domestic content in procurement refers to the share of Kazakh goods, works and services in the total volume of purchased products. This concept also includes the participation of domestic companies in production and contracting processes.

In accordance with government policy, SK Ondeu carries out ongoing work to increase the level of localisation in procurement and support domestic producers.

The local project office for import substitution and development of local content of SK Ondeu regularly reviews business proposals regarding the inclusion of planned production items in the Pool of goods for import substitution within the Programme to promote the creation of new productions.
