SK Ondeu increased the share of in-country value in procurement to 88%

SK Ondeu ensures consistent annual growth in the share of in-country value in the procurement of goods, works, and services. At the end of 2025, this indicator reached 88%, demonstrating steady growth compared to previous periods (86% in 2024 and 80% in 2023). The total procurement volume of the Group, including long-term contracts, amounted to KZT 38.2 billion (KZT 2.8 billion for goods; KZT 35.4 billion for works and services). In addition, in 2025, 4 offtake contracts were concluded totaling KZT 124.7 million, contributing to the development of domestic production and strengthening in-country value. Additionally, SK Ondeu subsidiaries held roundtable discussions with domestic manufacturers, during which procurement procedures and support measures were explained. This contributed to increased engagement of Kazakhstani suppliers and ensured growth in the local content share in goods procurement to 28%. The development of in-country value is one of the key priorities of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, aimed at strengthening the national economy, creating new jobs, and stimulating industrial growth. According to Samruk-Kazyna Contract LLP, the Fund’s procurement operator, the implemented support mechanisms, including offtake contracts, priority procurement from domestic manufacturers, and simplified participation requirements, contribute to the active development of local enterprises and the launch of new production facilities. At the end of 2025, the share of in-country value across the Fund Group reached 83%, while procurement from domestic manufacturers totaled KZT 2.2 trillion, increasing by 98% compared to the previous year (more details are available at the following link: https://twi.kz/mOlbL).
