Daulet Zhunuspaev started his career in United Chemical Company LLP more than 10 years ago and started as a manager of the Technical Support Department, and after that in 2012 he was promoted to Chief Manager of the Technological Development Directorate. Until 2014, Daulet analyzed the technological development of the chemical industry, provided technical and technological support for the Partnership’s investment projects, and participated in the development of new projects, pre-project, project documentation as part of working groups, including independent consultants.
Combining his career, from 2011 to 2013 he was Secretary of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Partnership.
From 2014 to 2016, as a General Manager of the Asset Management Directorate of the Partnership’s inorganic and specialty chemistry, he was the administrator of investment projects, control and monitoring at all stages of project implementation.
From 2016 to 2020 Daulet worked as the Secretary of the Supervisory Board of CHEM-Plus LLP, where he ensured corporate governance, coordination and monitoring of CHEM-Plus LLP activities.
In different years he participated in the development of the Master Plan for Development of the Chemical Industry of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014, in the development of new investment projects, such as: SEZ KhimParkTaraz, production of caustic soda and chlorine, glyphosate and sodium cyanide.
Daulet has a Ph.D. in Chemistry and defended his thesis on “Self-organization effects and physicochemical properties of diphyl copolymers of vinyl alkyl еthers copolymers and complexes based on them”. But he does not stand still and is constantly developing, in 2016 he graduated from the Kazakh University of Technology and Business with a Bachelor’s degree in economics and business, specialty “Management”.
From 2005 to 2008, Daulet was involved in scientific activities and undertook such scientific internships as the “Laboratory of Radiation Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry” in Ankara, Turkey and the “Laboratory of Polymers of Medical and Biological Use at the School of Pharmacy” in Reading, Great Britain.
Also, Daulet has co-authored more than 30 scientific publications, of which 4 articles have been published in international scientific journals with high impact – a factor. He also has honorary diplomas: for his active contribution to the development of the chemical industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan (2015), as well as to rewarding labor achievements and personal contribution to solving the tasks (2019).
Now Daulet works as a coordinator of the Asset Development Service in the Partnership is engaged in methodological support of activities on asset management issues, asset management planning, administration of existing assets, ensuring the growth of production efficiency and bringing them to design capacity.
Daulet and his wife raise three daughters, with his family he likes to read books, study the world and swim.
