Olzhas Bektenov, the Prime Minister, to Visit CHEM-Plus LLP

Olzhas Bektenov, the Prime Minister, during his business trip to Zhambyl region verified the fulfillment of instructions of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on increasing the share of manufacturing industry in the country’s economy in order to achieve target indicators of the growth.

The Head of Government got acquainted with the activities of the backbone enterprises of the region, in particular, chemical, light industry, mining companies. He also visited the Jibek Joly special economic zone, on the territory of which new large-scale production facilities are being built.

In addition, Olzhas Bektenov visited CHEM-plus LLP, the subsidiary of Samruk-Kazyna Ondeu LLP. During the visit, he familiarized with the production lines of the enterprise and its own workshop for the production of containers.

The Head of Government was also informed that at the moment, CHEM-plus LLP, together with Agro-Tamyr LLP, is expanding the range of products, in addition to glyphosate-containing herbicide, liquid fertilizers are being produced designed to grow and increase the yield of fruits and vegetables and other agricultural crops. Following the visit, the Prime Minister positively assessed the company’s activities.
