THE CHEMICAL INDUSTRY IS ONE OF THE LEADERS IN JOB CREATION

Employment of the population is an important indicator of the economy of any country.  Although the chemical industry does not require a high level of permanent employment, it has a high multiplier effect (7 to 1), due to the creation of indirect employment in secondary and related industries, as well as in the service sector, and allows the production either of consumer goods that are imported or absent today. Thus, the chemical industry stimulates the innovative development of the national economy through energy efficiency, exports and entrepreneurship.
