On August 01, 2022, Sheraly Meiir Nurtaiuly was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Samruk-Kazyna Ondeu LLP.

Meiir Nurtaiuly was born on August 20, 1988. In 2010, he obtained the Bachelor’s degree in Oil and Gas Engineering from the University of Manchester (UK). In 2012 he became a graduate of Buketov Karaganda State University with a degree in Economy.

Since December 25, 2019, he has been a reservist of the Presidential Youth Talent Pool.

Meiir Nurtaiuly started his career in the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Oil and Gas Information and Analytical Center JSC. In 2011, Meiir Nurtaiuly began working at Baker Hughes, where he held 14 positions from field drilling engineer to Director of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Countries. During his work at Baker Hughes, he has implemented major projects in the countries such as Kazakhstan, Thailand, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, etc. Meiir has managerial experience in engineering/design, technical support, maintenance, production and repair shop, sales and business development, joint ventures and asset management. The last positions held are General Director of Baker Hughes ZMS JV LLP, General Director of Baker Hughes Kazakhstan LLP, Director of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Countries, Oilfield Services companies.
