In connection with the registration of cases of coronavirus infection (2019-nCoV) in China, we report that characteristic signs of infection, such as:

  • Headache
  • Runny nose
  • Chest pain
  • Fever
  • Accelerated heartbeat
  • Rapid breathing

For prevention purposes, please follow simple WHO recommendations:

  • When coughing or sneezing, observe the “respiratory etiquette”. Wear a mask if necessary. Disposable wipes used for coughing and sneezing should be discarded – do not keep used wipes in or near your pocket.
  • Wash your hands. If soap and water are not available, use alcohol-containing hand sanitizers or other antiseptics.
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth with your hands.
  • Avoid eating raw or insufficiently cooked animal products.
  • Avoid close contact with someone who has respiratory symptoms such as coughing and sneezing.
