Innovative solution to enhance equipment reliability

Dmitry Serpukhin, Head of the Automated Process Control Systems (APCS) Department at KUS LLP, spoke about the implementation of technical solutions aimed at improving the operational stability of gas turbine generators. Due to the impact of vibration loads and elevated temperatures on equipment performance, an analysis was conducted that identified specific design features revealed during operation and affecting the stable functioning of the generators. To address the issue, a set of technical solutions was implemented, enabling the minimization of unplanned shutdowns of gas turbine generators and improving the production process of the KUS power plant.
